Barry is seating away from the crowds. It's been rough, this past week, trying to deal with his departure, with Sara's feelings about it, with a Bar that he feels still needs him (even though it can do fine without him). He's eating macaroni and cheese for lunch, a sure sign he wants - needs - comfort food

Nearby sits a writer chewing thoughtfully on an apple while staring at a notepad. A pencil is also being tapped on the tabletop. In the heat of composition Jack tends to forget that pencil tapping is annoying.

"Good afternoon," Barry says, figuring this will interrupt the pencil tapping.

Which it does.

"Afternoon," he replies, examining the unfamiliar man. "I don't believe I've met you. My name is Jack Driscoll."

"Barry Allen." He extends his hand. "Are you new here?" Ah, the irony that even now he can find new people to talk to.

[valehero]

"You look a little down..." comes a messy blond haired adept's voice as he approaches the table. He smiles gently to the man, of whom probably doesn't even know him, as he is now. "Care to talk about it? I'm sure there's something that can be done about it."

Mun is off to eat, but will return shortly.

"Er, hello.

"Thanks for the offer, but some problems can't be talked out." Barry tries to smile.

"I suppose so, but talking about it does sometimes ease the pains," he says in return. "It's not forced, but if you do feel like it, my ears are open..."

He shifts his footing a bit. "My name is Isaac, by the way."

Barry's smile is a bit warmer. "Barry Allen. And I am afraid that what it comes down to is that my time here is ending soon. I'm okay with it, though."

Sara has a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. Comfort food seems to be the order of the day.

"Hey."

"Hi." Barry's grin brightens a bit. "How you doing?" He gives he a hug and kiss as she sits.

[ooc: online at home - will be on for about 3 hrs, or till my head gets buzzy]

[ooc: I may be fleeing early as well, since an unexpected snowstorm's come in. No problem.]

"I'm fine. You?" She sits, giving him a smile.

He exhales, a small puff of air escaping. "I've been better. But all things considered, I don't feel that down.

"Guess once I knew this was coming, it got easier to face."

*There's an Andrew passing by, looking a little pensive.*

"Andrew!" Barry calls the young vampire hunter over, havning not seen him in ages.

*Andrew's a Rogue Demon Hunter now.*

*If he can find any Rogue Demons.*

Hi, Barry! How've you been?

"I've been..." Barry pauses to get it right. "I have been okay, but the end is coming.

"I'm joining the Speed Force soon." He knows that Andrew will get. Heck, he thinks Andrew got it before he did, since Wally's comics are Andrew's time.
