Main Dorm, Common Room, After the Power Out.

Elwood was busy gathering flashlights and candles together, as well as setting out some food from his fridge and freezer that might spoil (he figured, better shared than trashed). So there was some ice cream, some milk, some cheese and crackers, all laid out.

It was almost like an improptu party.

Dean knocked on whichever door would be closest to the common room itself. Sure, his fellow officers were supposed to be checking in with people and offering supplies, too, but mostly, they were splashing each other in puddles or daring each other to hold large, metal objects in the air.

Ladies and gentlemen, your police force.

Elwood opened the front door.

"Good day, officer," he said.

"Yo," said Dean. "You guys all good over here? Got some extra supplies if you need 'em."

"Like what sort of supplies?" Elwood asked.

Owen was sprawled out in a chair, bowl of ice cream in hand.

Aside from the lack of power? This was kind of awesome.

"Have we met?" Elwood asked Owen

"Don't think so. I'm Owen," he said, giving a wave with the hand that wasn't holding the bowl.

"Elwood Blues," he replied. "You in this dorm, or you one of Dean's?"
