Main Dorm, Common Room, After the Power Out.

Elwood was busy gathering flashlights and candles together, as well as setting out some food from his fridge and freezer that might spoil (he figured, better shared than trashed). So there was some ice cream, some milk, some cheese and crackers, all laid out.

It was almost like an improptu party.

Owen was sprawled out in a chair, bowl of ice cream in hand.

Aside from the lack of power? This was kind of awesome.

"Have we met?" Elwood asked Owen

"Don't think so. I'm Owen," he said, giving a wave with the hand that wasn't holding the bowl.

[drywit_toast]

"Elwood Blues," he replied. "You in this dorm, or you one of Dean's?"

"I'm in this one," Owen said cheerfully. "So you're stuck with me."

That grin would be a scary one in about fifteen years.

Elwood chuckled. "Well, good ta finally meet ya."

[teenprat]

"Back at you." Owen mock saluted with the ice cream bowl. "Anything I can drag myself off my ass and do to help?"

[drywit_toast]

"Good for now, I think," Elwood said. "Just relax and stay calm."
