The power of a nap. You wake up, and the time before seems like a world away. Was I really still swimming in the ocean by Waikiki Beach just a few hours ago? It seems like a dream.

Sorry to hear about you having to deal with AmAir and such. Awesome about the stop off on the way though. Tourist trap or no, I love Waikiki. It's where I learned to surf.

The previous time I was in Waikiki was after a week on the Big Island, and it felt as crass and overwhelmingly, disgustingly commercialised as Reno does after a week in Black Rock City. But I didn't mind it nearly as much the other day.

And yes, I'm back in SF, slowly gaining ground in the battle to be awake in time for the morning meeting at work. =)
