Oh gosh, thank you SO much for mentioning this! For whatever strange reason, the one on FF.net ended up being a merging of two stories I'd written (I have no idea what happened there...), and I didn't even notice it.

No wonder it didn't make sense! I was thinking that Dean went back in time and possessed John to prevent the apocalypse or that Sam and Dean both went back and possessed themselves, and then killed each other. I came here to see if the comments would help me make sense of it.
