So we finally went to Mader's (a Milwaukee landmark, and supposedly the best and most famous German restaurant in the USA) tonight. It's a really nice place, done up in an old-school German style, including stained-glass windows, suits of armor, and medieval weapons on the wall (which made us feel at home). IMPROV is awesome. Next time you're in NYC, we'll take you to the Upright Citizens Brigade, founded by Amy Poehler, who is pretty much there every Sunday.

Ooo, yes, I would enjoy that very much. I must get myself to NYC again sometime soon.

I had hat hair! That's what happens when I put a hat on, take it off, put it on again, and take it off again!

I totally missed the comparison with my partner's sweater, but there was a lot going on and I know I missed maybe 40% of it.

Nah, I'm just a ham. I was way into acting when I was younger, and I even did a lot of improv exercises (swiped directly from Whose Line is it Anyway?) in high school acting classes.

(I auditioned for the Dog Day Players at Dartmouth, but I bombed like you wouldn't believe and didn't get in. I think that was my last attempt at actual improv.)
