I got everything ready for tonight. We celebrate Christmas Eve more than the actual Christmas day, so i am going to my aunt's house for a big dinner tonight. I guess it's our equivalent to what people from the US do on Thanksgiving day, only that we eat at midnight and exchange gifts after that.

I had a long flight on my way from Peru and i had to stop twice. One in Mexico City and the other stop was in Atlanta. I decided to make the best of the long trip back to New Jersey, so i got a visa for Mexico and got out of the airport and walked around for about 4 hours.

This was a nice weekend. Friday was my sister's birthday, but she got a little sick and we couldn't go out to dinner. I ended up meeting up with some old college friends,  drinking some beers, and doing a little bar hoping in Chacarilla, Miraflores, and Barranco. I went out yesterday and walked around the district of Miraflores. Miraflores is known for being a district where a lot of tourists hang out. I know the district quite well since my high school was there and i spent 5 years hanging out there.

I took this pic on the way to my cousin's house. It's a neighborhood that is close to the edge of the cliff that faces the pacific ocean. It is very nice in the summer since the sun sets right there.
