This was a nice weekend. Friday was my sister's birthday, but she got a little sick and we couldn't go out to dinner. I ended up meeting up with some old college friends, drinking some beers, and doing a little bar hoping in Chacarilla, Miraflores, and Barranco. I was smart and remembered to drink A LOT of water before going to sleep this time, so there was no headache on Saturday morning.
Saturday was a lazy day. Slept until really late and after hanging around the house for a bit, i went to see my old college rugby team. They kicked ass and it seems that they are wining the metropolitan tournament this year. It was an awesome game. Unfortunately, i had to leave after the first half because two of my aunts were going to my house to visit. I must say it was difficult to stay on the side lines and just watch the game. I am going to have a tough time when i go see Gotham play this season.
Sunday was very relaxing. Went out for lunch with my parents and i can tell already that i will be missing the restaurants here a lot.
By the way, i regret not bringing my camera. The one my dad has fucking sucks.
We met up at Ramon's house for some beers and head out to the first bar. This is Rommy and I. She's the only one from my group of college friends that knows i'm gay. For a change, i was drunk when i told her, haha.
After a few beers there, we went to a bar called "El Oso." How funny is that? Their sign was a teddy bear hanging on the wall, which i didn't take a picture of. I took a picture of a board they had inside though.
El Oso was kind of packed, so we left and headed to Barranco, which is an old district in Lima. A part of barranco known as el boulevard is full with bars and places to hang out, eat, and drink. We went to a place called "Mochileros." A lot of backpackers stay (and drink) in this place. You can see people from everywhere in the world there. My dad's shitty camera couldn't do better and this is the only pic i got of the room we were drinking at Mochileros.
On Saturday i went to see my old rugby team play. I also got a chance to catch up with old friends that i haven't seen in at least 5 years. It was hillarious to see their reaction when they saw me., haha. These are the guys from the A team warming up for a crucial game against our classic rical team.
My old practice and home pitch. Look, there's grass!!

My old team, Universidad de Lima, was winning the first half 25 to 0 when i left. I'm pretty sure they won the game, but haven't confirmed it yet.
