On Sunday I volunteered for Sunday Streets and the best thing happened -- I was directing car and bicycle traffic at JFK and Chain of Lakes in Golden Gate Park and, in a moment of stillness, a gigantic albatross flew through the intersection and took the biggest shit I have ever witnessed. It was like Zeus overturned an entire bucket of poop!

Alternately feel like punching 100,000 people and hugging 100,000 people.

Home again. I've been back in the city a week and two days and still the jet lag lingers.
