So, I've kind of been avoiding it for years now, but I finally caved in and applied for a credit card.

It came in today. So far, I have been very good, buying nothing but Gas and Groceries, which were things I needed anyway. The whole process just terrifies me a little.

Here's hoping I can stay on the ball and not let myself get in over my head.

...so. Hi, LJ land. It's been almost a year and a half since I posted.

Yeah. I'm still alive.

Still working at the park, though in a slightly better position most of the time. And going to be pretty much full time for the summer. We'll see how it works out.

Last week I had a job fall into my lap. While I was working on a comission I did for Tara, I went to the same Hancock fabrics approximately three times within 2 days. i got to joking with one of the counter girls, which went something like this:

I didn't know Lori that well, but loosing her too....2010 is fired. It's no longer allowed to be my year anymore.

So my brother Chris and his wife Holly are spending christmas here with us, along with their two daughters, Emilia, who is 2 1/2, and Chloe, who is almost one.

Found funky pink glasses today, and went a head and unscrewed the side pieces. Will later attatch to a stick. Possibly with a ribbon to either go around the wrist or be somehow attatched to the dress.

Also, whilst browing through joann's apholstery clearance section, found this weird sort of rubbery vinyl in canary yellow. Will make perfect banana

So this week has been a lesson in "what is Merry's body physically capable of?"

I can get away with 6 hours of sleep in a 48-hour period.

I cannot get away with 6 hours in 72.

I can do an epic all-night drive after being up 22 hours straight.

I cannot do another one the night afterwards.
