I've got a fic that's a sequel to another fic I wrote years ago. The original fic was Gen but the sequel has slow burn Merthur as the pairing. Can I post a link to both so that people don't get confused jumping into an already established 'verse or can I only post the one that has eventual Merthur?

you can post both! because the first can count as pre-slash if the sequel is merthur. :)

edit: as long as maybe there's a note that says the first fic is going to be eventual merthur in the sequel.

Hi there!

I already have a contributor tag here, but I just realized that I haven't posted links to the last three mxa fics I wrote. Can I just post them here and backdate them to the actual date I first posted them to my own LJ? They'd be far down in the archive, but at least they would be under my contributor tag.

sure! except i'm not sure if you can post backdated entries on a community? i've never done it before so i have no idea, i hope you can though. if not, you can submit them all and i can stagger them by approving them days apart in the next week or so?

I see that you are correct- I can't backdate to the Community - only a mod can backdate.

At the moment, I only have one fic "Swimming with the Sidhe" loaded up and ready to post. Feel free to backdate it to August 12, 2013 for the ultimate in archival accuracy.

i actually cant backdate either cause it won't let me edit the date or post in general. maybe you can try again since i just approved the entry? if not, maybe you just cant backdate on communities in general.

I just added another one to your queue. "A Sprinkling of Snow." In hindsight, I'm not 100% sure I tagged it correctly. I think I forgot to label it as fic, and it should also be tagged underaged.
