I've noticed lately that portable TV sets are unusual items-- a few year back, they were thigs one could get in K-Mrt, CVS, Sears, Best Buy, etc. Today? ..... -

Another "long absence from here" post.
I saw USS Constitution with functional sails, on the return to Castle Island--I missed apparently the actual self-powered sailing (slow MBTA bus service that day, alas...).
And the mute button on the TV remote is critical these days. Lying politicians and lying PACs (that's the polite comment...) -

I got a new computer back in March, while I was employed, to take with me on a business trip (the one business trip I went on while employed... will be filing for unemployment this week....Rot in hell, Tea Party... ). And where have you been lately?
Home, collecting job hunting and collecting unemployment, and frequenting e.g. Facebook. The settings on the home computer and LJ don't appreciate on another. Just because I consider tracking tags loathsome despicable obscenities and adclick.com etc. anathema hellspawn (Flash tracking tags too) and tend to block them (though one Flash POS ( Read more... ) -

So, I can log into -this- account on my main computer, but not the other LJ account....
I'm still unemployed (as are lots of other people).
