June was wet, June was cold. Most of July has been wet and cold. And then yesterday it got hot, humid, and sticky. Once upon a time I used to have a three strikes rule regarding books--if I tried to read three book by an author and was unable to read them or underwhelmed by them, I thereafter regarded that author as one who was on my ex-officio list of "authors whose books I am not interested in."

January had Arisia. I skipped Vericon, it was the weekend after Arisia.
And Jan 28 saw a noxious snow/sleet/rainstorm, that dropped half a foot of snow then changed. Snow, snow, and MORE snow....

Where's the year gone, I want to know....

Saturday was a late/early start-I had a dental appointnment, a permanent crown replacing a temp one. After that I headed to the annual Herbal Society of America--New England Unit plant sale.
