There needs to be an automatic subject generator. Come on, it'd be total nonsense! :D

1. Mondaaaay. Argh.

2. Science LULZ. Most amusing if you have ever had to make and/or edit figures for publication.

3. Livejournal, how does it feel to Fail this hard? Because it looks painful. While were here, can we get some basic genetics instruction to that bluemeringue person? Because karyotype is not the whole story. (Also, It's PERSONAL? ( Read more... )

HIIIIIII. ♥

YES. And China's "Reasonable Doubt" 'verse is A+++ as well.

You must try to watch it some day. It is delightful and OT3-tactular. I mean, the show just ships them so hard.

3. SRSLY. I went to look at my own profile settings yesterday and yep, suddenly "it's personal." I agree with the commenters on the news post, that *really* doesn't sound the way lj thinks it does. I'm not ashamed of being a lady person, I just don't think it's relevant to the internet at large. RAAR. Way to really piss off your user base and make totally awesome assumptions about gender identification, lj.

9. Florida sounds so wonderfully, funderfully WARM *jealouses with you*

(once again I managed to type over half my comment)

3. Total bullshit, I don't even KNOW what the thought process is. And as much as we yell at the staff in the news post, you KNOW it's not coming from them. It's the advertising people. They want their targetting, dammit, and that requires optimum levels of stereotyping ( ... )

What is so hard about "Male, Female, Other, Prefer Not To Say"

A thousand times THIS. And thank you, thank you, thank you for knowing sex =/= gender. I had someone on my f-list inform me that they are one and the same and probably the only reason the argument didn't last longer was because I never read her last comment on it. *hopes that person is not reading friends' friends right now*

Fffffffffffffffffuuuu--

It's not exactly an esoteric concept. I LEARNED IT IN HIGH SCHOOL BIOLOGY. And again in university anthropology. And genetics. And again in LIFE by, like, listening to people who know better than me.

Reducing complex biological issues is dumb enough without trying to match up that with the cultural issues like one DETERMINES the other rather than comprises only PART of the overall constellation of individual experiences.

4. Booo.

10. Not too bad. I had coffee and cake. Mmm. \o/

2. I know, right? (I mean, I think it's a typo or brainfart from someone who can't figure out the difference between standard deviation and a t-test result, but whatev.)

3. Their FACE indeed. *fumes*

4. There's SOME amusing stuff, though. And not as much eye-bleedingly bad art as last time!

10. \u/ I had leftover chicken wings for lunch they were amazingggggg.

Also! You people who have experience of not fitting into our boxes are WRONG about what you find offensive! Here, let me explain what you REALLY find offensive.

IL Basia Bulat! Haven't had a chance to listen to her new album yet, but the first one is A+++++. I bought it hard-copy and got it signed and everything.

Oh yeah, don't forget that. It's an essential item if you want to really maximize your Fail.

The new album is great! :D

Oh, LJ. Fail fail fail. And the fail would have been SO MUCH less obvious had that staff member exercised a moment of frontal lobe activity and cut part of their sentence from the comment reply box. *sighs* Ah well, it's reassuring to see that things around here haven't changed that much.

Also, hi, could you linky me to the SPN fic? I am too lazy for such things as Delicious bookmarks. *flounces off*

PS re: #7 - I discovered Basia first! She is my indie girlfriend! So get yer stinkin' hands off her!

They fail SO HARD, Nos. I don't even.

I was in the lab, so I was also to lazy to link the fic, but here! and here!. The next part of the second installment is forthcoming from the looks of it. I don't usually go for WIPs, but it's just so A+ I had to read all I could find.

7. Well, whatever. Emily Haines is totes enough for me.

Gracias for the links! Awesome. And you can keep your Emily Haines, even if she also rocks. I give it to you in the name of pity.
