So, reading Twilight again. For the lulz, I assure you. I got to 36 pages! It's slow going. I mean, wtf? There are people out there who honestly think this is excellent writing? Like, I could give you guilty entertainment and forgive you bad taste, but... it's not good. It isn't ( Read more... )

do not want, glutton for punishment, wtf, books, no value

Someone told me there is a part in the second book where, to show Bella's inner pain, there are actually blank pages.

You know. Like she doesn't exist.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

... See, it's bad enough that, truthful or not, I wouldn't put it past this author.

For the love of tiny kittens, weriting for teenagers doesn't mean the book has to be is STUPID. D:

I have to admit, I know little about Twilight, and from reading everything you guys have been saying about it around here I think maybe it's best I keep it that way... :o

Put it this way: when I first got the pdf, I wondered for a moment if it was the actual book. It's just... amateurish. If it were a fic, it's be a bad high school AU in some anime fandom by a fifteen year old with a passable grasp of grammar, but no idea how to use characters and Mary Sue aspirations for the POV-holder.

It's... charmless.

Oh. Well. That sounds...unintriguing. :/

Perhaps I'll devote my time to things more worthwhile then...like...oh, maybe getting on with the rest of those Durham County screencaps.

But you....you enjoy your book. :D

I have no intentions of ever reading any of those books (ever, in my entire life, no matter what I'm being blackmailed/threatened/bribed with), but I adore the fact that you always put the title in sparkles. :D

I'll take any excuse to use sparkle text, tbh. *g*

Oh, thank god. It's not just me.

Shall we make it a blood pact?

BTW, your icon is strangely hypnotic...

Shall we make it a blood pact?

Absolutely. I mean, I can understand wanting to read it for the lulz, but there are some things that are just too painful. Especially since I know what happens in the birth scene in the fourth (or whichever) book.

Hee! I know. Whenever I use it I end up watching it for a couple of minutes before I can stop myself.

I know you can do it!!!

What? I had to suffer through this whole thing, why shouldn't you? :p

But to keep your sanity, you should really read something good inbetween and keep going through Twilight in small parts.

Nooo, I can't take it. D:

I will just keep reading fanfiction. It is much better.

In fact, Twilight fanfiction is probably an improvement on the canon, teenyboppers or no.
