So, I started back to work on Wednesday. I only worked a half day, due to a doctor's appointment, so I really didn't see my boss. I get to work on Thursday to my boss saying, "We need to talk." So, I got home from the hospital on Wednesday and felt really good. Was home all day Thursday and felt really good. I even went to the gym and walked a mile (which my doctor said was fine, walking was good). So I know longer have a gallbladder. Unfortunately, my 5:15 surgery didn't take place until 7:30. Plus, after the doctor talked to Mom after surgery, the nurses forgot about her and didn't bring her back to see me in recovery. Hey, just a quick update. Had an ultrasound done last Thursday. Showed my gallbladder as a black shadowy thing with lots of white dots, which means, yup, I've got gallstones. Because I keep having problems with it, with no signs of them getting better, my doctor has recommended surgery to remove my gallbladder ( Read more... )

Got the best news last night when I got home. Can't say what it is until Friday or Monday at the latest, but it's absolutely wonderful. *huge grin*

Can I say how wonderful it is that my work pipes in music, so you don't have to have a radio, and it's actually decent music? It's so great.

I finally have a job interview! It's kinda a good news/bad news situation though. The good news is that it pays really well and it's in the chem field, which is something I desperately need to get back into after being gone for a year.
