[She doesn't know if this is a stunt or the real deal, but given how she can't feel their souls, she's pretty sure it's the latter.]

[Zombies are roaming the neighborhood on Halloween night.]

[The doors are boarded, as are the windows, and all the lights are off. Orihime is huddled next to the bed, trying not to breathe too loudly, nervously eyeing the window. If any zombies DO come in, she's going out the window and into the tree. Zombies aren't that good at climbing, if she remembers right. But she still really REALLY hopes they don't find their way into the house.]

[Orihime jumps violently at the sound of the pounding, hiding her head in her arms with a muffled cry of dismay. They're here...! But once she picks up the distinctive rhythm, the terror dissipates enough for hope to break through. She was so afraid that she'd lost him! Scrambling to her feet, Orihime races down the stairs, gripping one of the boards on the door.]

M-Marlon...?

[Better make sure first.]

There was just this naggling feeling. A feeling that he wasn't used to when it came to Sherlock. Oh he knew the other man was there and just... he needed more. Something he wasn't so sure that the detective was ready to give him to be honest. Then again he wasn't even too sure why he even wanted it. It's not like he's never been loved before. However there was just something about Sherlock Holmes... something that made him want more.

'Love' was a difficult feeling for Sherlock Holmes, when it came to other people. Oh, he most certainly had obsessions - his work would always be the biggest one. As he was married to it, yes, he would consider it a statement of fact that he loved his work. But other people? John? The detective had found a place in his complex life for the doctor so quickly that it almost surprised him. He'd become accustomed to having the other man there with him.

It wasn't something that plagued him as much as it did John, however, as that afternoon he sat behind the doctor's laptop, scouring his own site, the blog, and everywhere else for a case, or for something. It would probably be a good time to approach him about something, however, since his mind wasn't currently focused on a particular case.

It was almost amusing to see him on his laptop. Like it belonged to him when the detective knew that it didn't. Moving over behind him he places his hands on his shoulders, massaging them.

"Sherlock?"

[Amy had heard the Doctor screaming and went to his room only to see that he was screaming because of a bad dream. Amy reached out to shake his shoulder.] Docotor? Doctor wake up.

[Orihime rushed back to town as soon as she'd heard the news. Not from Marlon, no, but from a concerned friend. That meant he'd been going through this alone all this time, until someone finally noticed that he wasn't getting better. So she dropped everything, and jumped on the first train home.]

[The front door swings open as she stumbles inside, breathless, and seeing Marlon almost immediately. Her shoes are shuffled off as she moves toward him, her brow inclining with concern.]

Marlon...?
