This month has been just as busy as last month, if not busier. I finished my internship at Argonne and packed up and came back to Lafayette, IN to my very own apartment. This month I started at Argonne National Lab and I am loving it. I get to work with uranium, reprocessing it, which is another way of saying taking used uranium and purifying it. It's very cool. I live in a 6-person apartment with only five people in it, but two of them are never around, so it's three of us very cool science nerd kids living ( Read more... )

This has been one busy month, I've moved out of my dorm visited Craig, Danni, My parents and little brother, my Aunt Amy and Aunt Lee. I attended my first ever professional conference (Actinide Separations Conference) at Argonne National Laboratory, saw Max in Chicago and am currently visiting with Craig's family again. So it is the last day of April, and I am done my first year of graduate school. I feel like I've learned a lot, but not accomplished a whole lot. But then again, during my freshmen year at Clarkson I didn't accomplish a whole lot either. And being a first year grad student is a lot like being a freshman again. So this month has been insane. Admittedly not as insane as last month, but still crazy. In big news I went home to NH and bought a car. A 2010 Honda Fit in Blue Sensation Pearl.
