the whole going away thing is inching closer and closer. after getting in, i guess i didnt give much thought to actually having to live somewhere else. im talking about the logistics of it. ive been dreaming about leaving my house and especially high school for a long time. i really want to get it over with, but every day seems to go by so slowly.

Yay! I'm so glad you really like my presents. And hey, I'm getting better at thank you cards! Next up: you're welcome cards.

I'd definitely want to bring pictures so I don't start forgetting what people look like. I'd definitely also bring that card you sent me for the "generic holidays" and other meaningful cards I've received. Maybe even some kindly graded papers for the occasional ego-boost. Ooh, and all my cheesy inspirational books as well as college advice books. And my tap shoes...just in case. Above all, though, I wish I could bring my dogs. They're the only thing keeping me sane.

i just wrote this really long comment and something bad happened and now im upset. it dissapeared. dammit.

im glad you liked my holiday card. it took some serious card writing skills for that one. a good card writer never lets the receiver know that she really doesnt want her to have a happy generic holiday. or that she secretely despises her and only tolerates her for free dinners and challah.
