fingers crossed that this does NOT fix it, because living with food allergies is not fucking living. this way of eating is not living, either.

*hugs and hugs and much luck*

Basically I may get to choose between eating yummy food (+ drinking tea damnit) and sleeping. :P That's the biggest problem with my current stomach issues - they kick up into higher gear at night and I can't sleep.

Seriously, even if the diet fixes All The Problems I'll still be trying to get whatever caused this nailed down and fixed, and I'll keep testing foods to find absolutely everything that I can have without issues. :-/

Well, if you don't mind a very.... weird suggestion, try having your meat as lean as possible, as rare as legally possible. It's really tender and really tasty! (Well, if you can legally get really-super-rare in your area. Montana has this stupid law saying the rarest you can have your steaks is medium-rare. Still ok, but rarer is better. ...No, I'm not a werewolf!)

Oh believe me, I love rare meat and Da Hubby cooks it wonderfully. ;) We don't have any trouble getting rare meat in restaurants here, but given the huge list of things I can't have even a trace of, eating out is not going to be happening much if at all...

Well shit! Are you allowed salt? That should help with adding flavor. If you have to have lactose free milk, how can you have ice cream? Doesn't it have lactose in it? Looking over that diet, I'd say Sushi! Not as great but still edible without soy sauce. I'd get as high a grade of meat as possible. It'll taste better. Also avoid the barbecue grill. Charcoal and smoke (which of course add flavor) will also add those bad chemicals... As a former fellow sufferer of IBS (was cause by anesthesia and thank God resolved itself!) I offer my most profound sympathies and wishes for a speedy resolution ( ... )

Wow hun, that is..some list.

Add in celery, ranch dressing, cut out the meat and chicken, switch the non-wheat pasta/bread for wheat, fresh fish for tuna, and you pretty much have the majority of my diet.

Mind you..it's cause I'm nearly always broke, and those are the cheapest foods possible that I CAN eat.

TONS of luck things resolve themselves and you get your teeeeeaaaaa baaaaaack!
