Obscurity Chapter 5 Part 1

Very sweet chapter. Jack and Ennis just getting to know each other better, both realizing they need a friend and now have one. Since Ennis doesn't seem to have dealings with his brother any more, I hope his brother will leave the guys alone. Barring that, I hope Ennis will have the courage to stand up to his bigoted, hateful, violent brother and drive him away for good, especially when he learns from a fearful Jack what Ennis' brother and his friends did 5 years ago that helped make Jack how he is now. And I hope Jack will soon tell Ennis what happened to him in the hospital to make him terrified to go back there.

This is a lovely chapter. I'm sorry I haven't commented on other chapters but for some reason after reading the Epilogue and commenting I lost track of this fic. I'm so glad I got back into it.

I am so glad to see a new chapter posted! Jack and Ennis are friends, and I'm glad that Jack will be staying at Ennis' place for awhile. Loved the card game, so very right for both of them.
