Bear Tartan Kilt and its new owner
Here's John, who now lives in FL, sporting his new Bear Tartan box-pleated kilt. He wore it to the Suncoast Squares' fly-in over the Valentine's weekend and was, apparently a big hit! He tells me that he loves the kilt (and that makes me happy)

Fun A/C night
Ett made last night's club night a lot of fun. It was well attended - up to three squares.
The energy was pretty good and the atmosphere was fun. I like it that way much more. It's supposed to be fun right.
I got another chance to dance C-1 which I don't get to do much lately (or since learning it). And more A2.

Is it offensive?
Would you find it offensive or be offended if you or other Americans were referred to as "colonials?" Now what if the person who was using it was a Brit?
How about "Yanks" I think southeners might tend to be more offended with "Yank."
