I got the proofs for The Heart Divided yesterday and am working my way through them today. All I can say is i don't think I would ever want to be an editor or a proof reader! *shakes head* What an eye for detail one would need!

The Postcards I ordered to promote my novel The Heart Divided arrived today from Vista Print and they're absolutely gorgeous. I'm so thrilled with them.

This is the moment when the realisation dawns (for me, anyway) that while I can tell a story, I can't write in English for crackers. *sigh*

I'll be quietly over here, digging my way through all the grammar corrections. (not that bad, really, you know how we writerly types like to overdramatise!)

I got an email from the editor for my novel yesterday. Attached was a questionnaire that will be used in the design of cover art for the book, and a request for a one or two paragraph description of the book aka a blurb for the back cover.
