Tari Tari is a 13 episode anime from 2012 about a school choir (and sometimes badminton) club. Which may sound bland, but it is possibly the most adorable anime to ever adorable.
Miyamoto Konatsu loves to sing, but isn't allowed to sing in the school's official choir club because her stage fright makes her freeze up in performances, so she decides to form her own club, and to train herself to get over the stage fright by singing in public parks. (With her eyes closed. Baby steps.) Her first recruit is her friend Sawa, a member of the archery club who wants to be a jockey. She attempts to recruit another friend, Wakana, who is a gifted musician, but who refuses to sing due to deep mother-related angst, but Wakana will only officially join to give Konatsu the members she needs, but not participate. Later, she forcibly recruits the 2 lone members of the school's badminton club to form the "Choir and Sometimes Badminton Club." (Konatsu is like a tiny, teen, music obsessed Leslie Knope: Utterly devoted to her mission and happy to engage in well-meaning and sometimes subtle manipulation, blackmail, and bribery to reach her ends.)
The plotlines revolve around the clubmembers trying to gain recognition for the club and balance it with their dreams of the future, including the ones that are going to be shot down. It's a very low-key series, and very good slice-of-life. I finished it completely happy and sad that there wasn't really any room for a second season. (That that it was a bad or unfulfilling ending by any means. It was just a very final ending with little room for sequelitis.)
