the "Choir and Sometimes Badminton Club."

I have wondered what school club I would have joined if they'd had that sort of thing. Now I know. "Choir and Sometimes Badminton Club" would have been awesome.

Have you watched Tamayura ~hitotose~ , as well? That'll give you a similar uplifting slice-of-life, but no boys included in that band of girls.

It's a great one for destressing. When you just need gentle beauty and friendship confirmed. No magic, just friendship and enthusiasm and finding what you want to do with yourself - and a bit of humor. And beautiful landscape (from what I gather it's set in a real Japanese town)

I *ahemed* it some months back, and just took a while to get around to posting on it. But it's been released on DVD since then, and I think it's also on crunchyroll.

Nifty! Do you think it would be okay for a young teen? My daughter might like it, and I've been trying to recruit her expand her horizons beyond Disney/Nick.

I think so. It's seinen and is apparently considered a moe show. While I can see a bit of that in the character designs, it isn't what I normally think of when someone says "moe." There are a few minor (imo) fanservice bits and a couple instances of "cute" shrieking/falling, but nothing big or inappropriate. I would have thought it was written for jr high girls if I hadn't been told otherwise.

mystickeeper/laceblade also really loved it, so you might check with her, too.
