So around 7 or 7:30 in the morning, they start trying to get me up. They start out by walking on me. Then Squeaker starts nosebumping me while Patches tries to eat my ( Read more... )

I'm pretty sure one of them has a shapeshifter heroine, but as the blurb I'm reading doesn't specifically verify that, I'm holding off on the title as to not potentially cause spoilers?

I've read all of them. I think a couple supporting female characters are shapeshifters, but I don't remember a main heroine being one. However! There are a lot of them, and with all the crack, I could have forgotten!

I thought the heroine in Eye of Heaven was a kitty shapeshifter or some nature? ... but now I'm second-guessing myself. >_> I don't think I managed to finish that one.

Hmm...I think her mother was...but maybe she was too? If she was, I think she only learned in the book.

O.O Last Sentinel is bad. SO VERY BAD. Like. Really really awful. Like. The only redeeming feature is Katee running around, shooting things, and even then? NOT ENOUGH OF IT.

Supernova has its moments.

I'm trying to explain to her that his TALKING GUN gets more lines than Katee Sackhoff and maybe she should reconsider watching, but she's clearly a masochist.

If it's the Disney live-action The Black Hole I think you might enjoy at least some of it. It's not necessarily a great movie, but the antagonists (I hesitate to use the term "bad guys") are pretty cool, IIRC. It's been at least a decade since I've seen it, though, so maybe I'm just speaking through the filter of nostalgia.

You know, my cat used to nip my toes to get me up in the morning. Not hard, but just enough to be really annoying. He'd bite right through the blanket with an uncanny sense of exactly where my toes were. You can only kick your cat off the bed so many times before you give up & feed the pest.
