I'm pretty sure one of them has a shapeshifter heroine, but as the blurb I'm reading doesn't specifically verify that, I'm holding off on the title as to not potentially cause spoilers?

I've read all of them. I think a couple supporting female characters are shapeshifters, but I don't remember a main heroine being one. However! There are a lot of them, and with all the crack, I could have forgotten!

Hmm...I think her mother was...but maybe she was too? If she was, I think she only learned in the book.

Maybe that was it, then. LOL I need to get reading those books again. I really enjoyed most of them, but fell of at EoH... which wasn't so much the book's fault but around the time I fell off reading in general. *shame*

Info on Amazon from the reviews (Publisher Weekly and such) state she is a shapeshifter, though the back cover copy only states she has an affinity for wild creatures.

ETA: I'm at work or I'd just look at the book on my shelf itself. LOL

Yes, at one point the hero goes to sleep with her and wakes up next to a lion.

Given that I really liked that one, you'd think I'd remember that! Or that I'd remember it period.
