Also, the world lacks heroines using their healing powers to do damage. It should be pretty a pretty obvious progression, imho.

Ahh cats. They really do believe themselves the rulers of the world. And we let them!

I got so confused and started thinking "No Merry's a shapeshifter and she's a heroine" and then I realised completely different series by a completely different author. But I read the psy-changeling series right after the Liu series and so have somehow merged them a little in my mind! :D

I shall have to keep an eye out for the new Liu book though!
