We passed a milestone and did not realise it. Our brewery is now 4 years old. It's all rather different now that it's located in a 1200 square metre factory. With employees. And a plant room. Good grief! It's nearly got a life of its own!
We've been building a bigger brewery for the past 14 weeks. We've got a few more weeks to go before our ~400 square metre manufacturing area is fitted out and ready to have my 100L pilot plant moved onto it for our first production in the new space

On Wednesday 12-12-12 I'll be launching my summer special beer: Pohutukawa Golden Ale from the taps at Little Beer Quarter on Edward Street in Wellington. It starts at 5pm. Maybe I'll see some of you there?
Beer. Beer all the time. Starting a new business is a lot of work and I've been very busy on that front. There are plans to start brewing on a larger scale as I am (or rather; have) outgrown my tiny pilot brewery. More is going out the door than I can produce and this is a fantastic thing. Hopefully increasing capacity by hiring under-utilised

I am delighted to announce the arrival of a niece, Cordelia, born to my sister and her husband in New York. Her birth weight was 5lb, 11oz. and everyone is doing fine.
