we don't even recognize it

-what we had is quickly fading away.

In 5 years I'll think back to today, and wax nostalgic for what little we had left.

This is killing us. (or at least what makes us "us".)

Every day in every way becoming empty spaces with stranger faces.

I found the girl I think is the one.

I killed her because I was afraid we would grow apart.

I was happy for a while, but now she smells.

I should have buried her deeper.

Got a tattoo last week.. "Memoria in Æternea". Latin for "In eternal memory", in memory of Jake. Hopefully it'll help me keep the memory alive. It's peeling and itching right now, but once that is over, hopefully it will be fully healed. I'm thinking about decorating it with a small design or a rose next.. not sure yet.
