Just finished reading China Miéville's The Scar and shall now have to read everything else he has ever written. It is such a good book with just the most brilliant concept: a gigantic floating steampunk pirate city made out of boats attached to each other. I've been listening to Big Finish audios recently and rediscovered how much I flove Five and Nyssa, individually and together and as Five/Nyssa. I really don't think any other TARDIS team beats them at being just so hopelessly nice and affable. I’m loving all this stuff about the Large Hadron Collider and how its going to be the end of the world and all that. It seems to very Doctor Who. Poor Timelash. You’ve just got to feel sorry for it since the making of documentary on the DVD sole function seems to be answering the question of why is Timelash crap? I didn't think it that bad.
