Festivid Recs

I've not even been through half of the vids posted (possibly not even a quarter), but so far I have a tonne of recs:

A Little Less Conversation (Yes, (Prime) Minister). Best song choice to subject matter ever. Not only that but its incredibly funny.

Collision Course (Donnie Darko) A wonderfully atmospheric vid and kind of wonderfully unsettling (in a good way), which is what I want from a Donnie Darko vid.

Baby I'm A Star (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) Carlton is a dance machine! And OMG the 90s nostalgia.

Awake My Soul (Classic Doctor Who) A perfect tribute to Sarah Jane that spans all her appearances across the Whoniverse. She is special. It made me cry. (Incidentally, I still don't quite think I'm quite over Lis Sladen's death)

The Fear (Misfits). An absolutely wonderful Alisha character study.

Doomsday (Independence Day) Just so, so epic. And awesome.

Papa's Got A Brand New Bag (Maru the Cat) You know, I have a theory that all the cat videos on youtube are really the cat's way of distracting us while they plot the feline revolution. Anyway, here's a hilarious and incredibly cute tribute to one feline celeb.

To Make You Feel My Love (Sports Night) Sports Night fans - this will bring your love of the show right back to you.

As I Call You Down (The Wire) Oh, Bubbles. The second vid on this list that had me tearing up. A Bubbles character study which so perfectly covers his often heartbreaking but ultimately uplifting journey through the course of the series.

What A Man (Pride and Prejudice - 1995). Colin Firth's Mr Darcy to Salt 'n' Pepa. Need I say more.
