Does anyone else get really confused by irony sometimes? Like, I recognize it, and I use it, but if I think about it too much, I get all, "Wait. Is that really ironic? What is irony again?" And then I go look it up and the words make no sense. Then I think really, really hard and it sort of makes sense. Later, it's like this blip of ( Read more... )

I blame Alanis Morrisette. The only thing about her song that is actually ironic is the song itself, being named "isn't it ironic" and nothing in the lyrics are actual ironies.
