Does anyone else get really confused by irony sometimes? Like, I recognize it, and I use it, but if I think about it too much, I get all, "Wait. Is that really ironic? What is irony again?" And then I go look it up and the words make no sense. Then I think really, really hard and it sort of makes sense. Later, it's like this blip of miscognition never happened. This doesn't happen with any other rhetorical device. I suppose that's ironic in itself. Or is it? HELP I CAN'T TELL.
This is probably like when I write a word too many times and it starts to sound and look wierd and I have to look it up b/c I'm no longer sure I'm spelling it right.
Like sword.
Sword.
