Wants to talk about Doctor Who. He can never get to be Doctor Who and brief wish to be on Torchwood. He could be an underling in Torchwood, cleaning computers or something.

He knows he can't get knighthood, he'd have to save a village or something. Apparently he and Frank got obsessed briefly with the idea of "sir" and they printed out something and read about it and they can't get it.

Time Is Running Out by Muse (which they just played actually)

Gerard and Frank were obsessed with being called Sir or getting a Knighthood. Gerard is disappointed that he'll never be knighted because he's not British.

He's disappointed he'd never be Dr. Who but maybe he could be in Torchwood because Torchwood has an American guy. He'd even settle for being a bad guy. It's the only thing that would make him want to act.

Gerard and Frank get into the weirdest discussions together, apparently.

How do you overcome writer's block: he finds it comes from fear, a fear based reaction. Or burnout. But mainly fear of failure, nothing to say. Way to overcome it, you just have to sit down and work the writing muscle even if it's crap, you just have to do it.
