Do you ever get inspiration from your fans: yes, obviously. There's a line from Save Yourself that is fan inspired, Cancer is inspired by fans with cancer, their bravery (or something like that).

I don't mind it but all of it feels like late 90s music even if I know it's newer.

Yeah that's what it is! It all sounds so dated to me, I don't know. I don't listen to many of these sorts of radio stations, I mainly listen to more "underground" or independent radio stations that play more obscure stuff.
