I remember sticking up for my older brother few times. I was a scrawny little thing but hey, don't mess with my family. And also as a substitute teacher I would watch out for kids that were being picked on. I can't stand it when kids are made to feel bad about themselves. -

Death of a soldier
I'm not one to make posts but I just wanted to pay tribute to a dear young man. On January 8, 2009 at 7:17 a.m we lost a friend in Afghanistan. His name is Joshua Lee Rath. He was killed when an IED exploded. He would have turned 23 this Saturday. He had just been home for Christmas and went back to serve his 4th tour. His family is close to us ( Read more... ) -

Writer's Block: In the Event of a Zombie Emergency
Lol, I didn't realize that everyone was really hooked on Zombies. My son is actually contemplating holding a Zombie survival class, he has a quiz made up and everything. I guess maybe I should take his class. Funny stuff. -

Just wanted to share a few pictures of my daughter Kourtney and her fiance' David. She just got engaged a few days ago and left today for Germany. I will miss her greatly but I know that she is where she wants and needs to be.
