Death of a soldier
I'm not one to make posts but I just wanted to pay tribute to a dear young man. On January 8, 2009 at 7:17 a.m we lost a friend in Afghanistan. His name is Joshua Lee Rath. He was killed when an IED exploded. He would have turned 23 this Saturday. He had just been home for Christmas and went back to serve his 4th tour. His family is close to us. They have 5 children and we have four. They grew up together. The Rath family is the most precious family I know. Anyone who has had the privilege to be a part their family has truly got to consider it an honor. They are met with lots of love and support from their friends and family here in Decatur AL. My heart goes out to them and anyone who has lost a loved one in the war.
