I immediately wanted to write a song about that scene, with those five words as the title. I didn't. It would be dated by the time I could safely sing it.

If I had a muse, she probably would have insisted I do so, even if I could never sing it. (I saw the lyrics to something someone wrote about the end of Feed. Now I need to stay awake long enough to make it to a filk so I can HEAR it...)

Don't know how much you know... Mira Grant is a psuedo for Seanan McGuire, who won the Campbell in 2010. From what I've heard, "Feed" was #2 (or #1 for the first 4 rounds) in line for the Hugo in 2011. She's a filker, an artist, and an extraordinary author ( ... )
