BOYS LOCKER ROOM

The locker room has a weird smell, but hey it's a locker room. Come here to change or store your belongings in one of the many lockers here. Hope you brought a lock. There are individually-curtained showers here; just make sure you wear some sandals! There's a large dry heat sauna next to the showers. It seems operational, but remember that this is Mayfield and the sauna could be a death machine in disguise!

GIRLS LOCKER ROOM

What a world of difference it is in the women's locker room. First and foremost, it doesn't smell like feet. Immediately you would find yourself in the "Powder Room". How about that 50's logic? There is a large counter against the wall with several vanity mirrors and chairs. Against the other wall are a few comfortable sofas and tables. Otherwise in the next room the standard amenities of a locker room are here; large lockers to store belongings, relatively clean, individually curtained showers and a functional (functionally eerie) dry heat sauna.

POOLSIDE

White chaise lawn chairs sit perpendicular to poolside with a small table next to each chair. There are small bottles of sunscreen, tanning lotion and oil for use on each table, as well as a few neatly folded towels at the foot of each chair. Maybe you could ask a nice neighbor to reach your back with some lotion? Just don't eat it. In fact eating the sunscreen is ill-advised. There are sunshade parasols every few chairs, though most are in their closed position. You can escape the heat and relax with some shade, but be careful that you don't interrupt someone tanning by popping the umbrella open! Come catch a tan, get to know new people, catch up with old friends or just take a nap!

POOL - SHALLOW END

The shallow end of the pool is in no short supply of water wings, kick boards and swimming rings. It's only three feet deep on this end, so most would be able to stand without sudden peril of drowning (hopefully!). Novice swimmers, this is your place! Or if you're just looking to get your feet wet with minimal effort, this is a nice place too. Horseplay is encouraged, because hey, the lifeguard chairs are empty, right?

POOL - DEEP END

Ahh, the deep end of the pool. Where all the "serious" swimmers hang out. The pool is only twelve feet deep, but for a novice swimmer it's quite the depth! Can you touch the floor of the pool? On second thought, do you want to touch the floor? Who knows what you'll find at the bottom! Gross!

The diving board is at this end of the pool. Time to show off some neat stunts! Just don't perform a belly flop. Seriously it stings! Also, jumping on someone on a raft or a swim ring is highly discouraged. And painful. Good thing there aren't any lifeguards around to blow the whistle on you, at least!

SHARK ALARM

[Mart will be swimming in the pool. He may not have all his demi-god powers, but he's still swimming around and under the waters pretty fast. Careful if you bring food to close to the pool or else he may chomp at it and bring it under, JAWS style.]
