POOL - DEEP END

Ahh, the deep end of the pool. Where all the "serious" swimmers hang out. The pool is only twelve feet deep, but for a novice swimmer it's quite the depth! Can you touch the floor of the pool? On second thought, do you want to touch the floor? Who knows what you'll find at the bottom! Gross!

The diving board is at this end of the pool. Time to show off some neat stunts! Just don't perform a belly flop. Seriously it stings! Also, jumping on someone on a raft or a swim ring is highly discouraged. And painful. Good thing there aren't any lifeguards around to blow the whistle on you, at least!

SHARK ALARM

[Mart will be swimming in the pool. He may not have all his demi-god powers, but he's still swimming around and under the waters pretty fast. Careful if you bring food to close to the pool or else he may chomp at it and bring it under, JAWS style.]

Mart can already sense Daniel in the water and from the depths approaches his legs, getting ready to bite... cue JAWS theme....]

[Cue Mart getting reflexively kicked at. Daniel's been smoking (only way he could stand being at a crowded pool at all), so he's a lot less... jittery than usual. More prone to kicking sons of Leviathan in the face.]

[Mart is kicked up to the water's surface, clutching his kicked face.]

[For a moment, Daniel looks shocked, and then he frowns.]

Were you trying to eat me again?

You r-really have to stop trying to do that. If you end up killing me, I don't even want to think about what Annie w-would do to you.

Yeah, werewolf girl already beat me with a sock full of quarters awhile back, so I know what to expect.

We just wnet toe to toe... hell if I can remember exactly why. All I remember were a lot of insults flying each way. And fists and socks flying. I bit her leg even though I didn't have my chompers back.

O-oh. Well. No wonder she doesn't like you all that much, then, if you bit her. I can't imagine she took that well.

Nah, she's totally cool with me. Just last week, she bought me dinner!

I... can't even imagine the sort of meal that was.

[He's imagining Mart and Annie drinking from the same milkshake and internally feeling both lulz and horror.]
