After I had a complete and total meltdown for about an hour after receiving the call from my boss, which included dry heaving into the Porcelain

I'd say, wait as long as possible to tell them to go fuck themselves, do so when you can't wait any longer, and in the meantime, contact B&N and see what they can do for you. You never know, if they have enough students who want the evening shifts, you might be able to get the day shifts permanently, or at least a guaranteed shift at a certain time. Hey, any money coming in will help, as long as you don't have to pay for day care.

Frankly, if you can't handle giving William up (not a bad thing at all, I just mean that, well, you know what I mean), then going back to that job would be even worse then it was before and it was pretty bad pre-William. You'd just wind up having a nervous breakdown. imho.

It hurts to say those things and even more to hear them, but they are out there now. The only thing you can do is move forward. Maybe that was the ice cold splash of water that he needed to realize that the world doesn't revolve around him, and that you have a POV too. *hugs*
