It would be fair to call Greed a man of strong psychological constitution. Little things could set him off, odd things, and he was prone to mood swings from time to time, but he tended to swing back just as easily, prone to joie de vivre at his own ambitions.
It would be appropriate to call Greed a man of an extremely hardy physical constitution.

But she didn't need a cell phone to perform a proper investigation. A little luck and a lot of footwork... that's the majority of investigative work. It's not glamorous, but it's effective.
So the Detective Prince decided to act on her hunch and seek out the greedy Homunculus. Perhaps he might be able to clue her in and confirm whether the shapeshifting Homunculus really was stuck on the ship with them or not.
Approaching purposefully, but keeping a respectful distance (lest he should lash out), Naoto announced her presence in a polite manner. "Excuse me, but I'd like to have a word with you, if you don't mind."

"'n in return, I want it to do laundry, iron, make change, keep tabs fix lights, clean floors, sew stuff up... if it can stitch up injuries on my guys or get bullets out of flesh, that'll be helpful... 'n I want it to do inventory and get the paper and get stains outtah stuff--suede couches're not the best place to do messy shit, but, y'know, heat of the moment and..."

"I-I think I have a good idea what you're looking for, yes..." Naoto said, blushing a bit at that last statement. "It would take me about thirty days to complete an android with that level of programming, plus a fully detailed chassis. I could sketch a mock-up of its appearance if you're not talented enough to draw one yourself..."
Pulling out her notebook, she began to scribble down the parameters that Greed had specified.

"All androids are programmed with a self-preservation protocol, in accordance with the Three Laws of Robotics."
Having finished with her list, she flipped over to a clean page.
"So, now for the cosmetic touches. Do you want it to be male or female? It's purely for appearances. It's not as though we're advanced enough to assign a biological sex to an android..."
That, and Naoto didn't really relish the idea of creating an android which was little more than an over-sized sex toy. It was in bad taste. Besides, Greed certainly had no trouble getting laid as it was...

She smiled and winked. One could easily see why Naoto and Winry got along so well with one another.
"I had a feeling you'd say that..." She had already begun sketching a rough outline of a feminine figure. "That's the reason I made Cordelia a girl, too. People too often underestimate a woman's strength, which makes her perfectly suited to task of being my bodyguard. I can walk around with her in public and not worry about her scaring anyone off." "I'm not your personal armrest..." she said, pushing at his arm with one hand. "So please don't wrinkle my hat. It's very important to me."
She nodded as she listened to the various criterion. Made a few erasures. The drawing was beginning to look like something actually human now. Pretty, but in a wholesome way. Something of a "girl next door" type. Not too young, but not too old. Somewhere close to twenty. Naoto didn't think Greed the sort to chase after jailbait. Not seriously, anyway. He was too classy for that.
"How about brown eyes, too, while we're at it?" She was already shading in the hair with the side of her pencil.
((OOC: I'm thinking the final sketch would resemble something like the girl on the right in this pic? You're free to choose an image ( ... )

"Sure. Brown eyes works for me. But the boobs can still be big if we're goin' for average. Havin' her bring me drinks between them while usin' 'em as a glass warmer or a chiller would be a neat parlor trick."

"...Okay, if you say so." A bit more erasing, and a few newly placed lines... "Mm! Are you satisfied with the design?"
She craned her neck upward while handing him the notebook. There was an expectant look on her face that bordered on childlike. Naoto was very proud of her work, and so she thrived on praise. It had been quite sometime since she'd been commissioned to any sort of mechanical work. Already her brain was kicking into overdrive, running through various schematics just waiting to be sketched and then brought to life...

She blinked once. Twice. Waiting. The earlier enthusiasm she'd felt before was beginning to deflate. It was difficult to keep her features composed and not show her disappointment.
After what felt like an eternity, the tall Homunculus cracked a grin and patted her head. He'd been fooling her all along, hadn't he? A small smile returned to her face and she blushed a bit at having fallen for his poker face.
"All right. Let's seal the deal then, shall we?" Naoto extended a small, slender hand. "You keep Envy from causing trouble during our trip, and I'll deliver a custom made android within thirty days, once I've returned to the estate. Deal?"

"Signed and sealed, Chief. I'll be hangin' out here if somethin' comes up. It'll be a pain in the ass if you have to shoot yerself in the head every time to prove it's you, but, we'll worry about code words and shit later. For now, he shouldn't know you'd come to me to handle anything."

"Understood. I'll do my best to patrol the area and keep the rest of the passengers apprised of the situation."
Yamato-Takeru, who had been standing by and watching the events transpire in stoic silence, finally spoke.
"If my presence is no longer required," he said in calm, regal tones. "I shall return to the place where I belong."
Naoto's only response was to nod. Her Persona turned to face the Homunculus. The mask made his expression difficult to read, but there was no longer any hostility.
"A man's word is his bond," he said. "You will honor your promise." Yamato-Takeru's words could either be taken as a command or as a simple statement of fact.
But once they were spoken, his figure dissolved into motes of blue light and vanished.
Naoto blinked in confusion. "That's strange... He's usually so reticent. You must have made quite an impression."

If the Persona's words were an order, Greed didn't take it as such; he merely raised a brow, surprised to be addressed at all by what, in his head, amounted to a flunky standing by during a discussion between bosses.
Well, Greed didn't mind lackeys with a personality as long as they knew their place in the long run, but it was still unusual. His cool expression broke into another smirk, thumbing at himself as Naoto herself commented. "That's just the kinda guy I am."
