It would be fair to call Greed a man of strong psychological constitution. Little things could set him off, odd things, and he was prone to mood swings from time to time, but he tended to swing back just as easily, prone to joie de vivre at his own ambitions.
It would be appropriate to call Greed a man of an extremely hardy physical constitution. Healthy was not only his default state but an irrefutable rule to which the physics of his biology would apply themselves if so much as a paper cut etched itself into his skin. Getting him drunk was a chore, with relatively short-termed results.
That said, there were signs that something wasn't quite right. There were things Greed was coming to believe that nothing could fix--and he wasn't one prone to using negative absolutes lightly. There were drinks, there were bikinis, there were games to be played, there were vast halls of ornate rooms and in them interesting goods to be found; if there was anything to be down about, it was the sheer and overwhelming abundance of things that Greed generally liked just waiting for him to go enjoy.
Homunculi didn't need sleep, but he looked worn, expression listless as he slumped against the railing, watching the water. There were probably stories of hauntings and terrors in the night all throughout the ship, but Greed, social animal though he was most days, hadn't heard any of it. He was entirely too caught up in his own terror, one that followed him through the night into the day.
Probably, some people would approach him, wave, say something to him at some point. They'd be Envy. Oh, they might not KNOW they were Envy, but they would be. Greed would know, damn it. Envy was a great actor; otherwise, nothing would have happened! Pretending to be traumatized himself was a brilliant move, but even if it was genuine, Envy was a twisted freak. Without a doubt he would realize the prowess of Greed's kissing and something would happen again. Since Greed planned to live forever, he had no intention of stacking up more life long traumas than absolutely necessary.
