Kinda hilarious considering some people on the BSN complained her chest wasn't "large enough" =/
Wouldn't be surprised about the bisexual romance thing either, given BioWare's statement that romances are "greatly expanded" in ME3. As for her being romancable in the first place - given her outfit, is anyone even remotely surprised?
If they were any bigger, she'd need a crane to get up in the morning. Also, re: her outfit - she really needs a jacket, or a sleeveless vest, like what Aria wears.
Ummm... how could she not know whether or not her character was romanceable? She recorded the dialogue, so it should be blatantly obvious to her, given that if there was romance potential, there would be romance dialogue? Unless she thinks they are going to cut it out of the game at the last minute, which wouldn't make sense.
Maybe she thinks by wording it that way it's not technically a spoiler?
As you say - it's pretty obvious. They wouldn't go to the trouble of scanning her face into the game and giving her that outfit if she was only going to be a minor character, and given that she's not a squadmate, it's only logical she's a romance option - otherwise she probably wouldn't have enough screentime to warrant all the effort they've put into her.
Ugh, here's hoping I don't have to have her on my ship, or if I do, that she's in some out-of-the-way place where I don't have to walk by her frequently.
I'm sure she's a very nice person (I have no idea who she is, as I am not a big follower of gaming websites), but I have zero interest in self-inserts into games. Even less so when all of the effort they put into her could have been put into something else for the game.
Well, in that interview, she said there was an option to kick her off, but she didn't know if that was before or after the romance was initiated. I hope it's before!
Thank goodness. I'll reserve full judgement until I talk to her in game, but I'm just not interested in another Kelly Chambers, at least on my main Shep. After all the bad experiences, why Shepard would want a reporter on a military ship in a full-blown no-holds-barred war is beyond me. Go 'embed' someplace else.
I feel kinda bad, because I do try hard not to pre-judge characters... I managed it fine with Vega. But there's just something so stunt-cast pandering about this that isn't helping my first impression. It also doesn't help that Kelly grated on me a bit because I could never bring myself to trust her character. And I just don't see how my Shepard would ever trust a random reporter. But what if she's important to characterization or something, and in leaving her behind you miss out on important character bits? Dunno what to think.
I saw this post and thought "Aw yeah, more information about this character already! So, what exactly does she do, does she interview us or what? How often? How does it affect other things, like, will the other races view Shepard differently depending on how we interact with this character? Does her existence allow us to use the media as a weapon against the Reapers?!"
Then I read the actual post and it was romance boobs impressive butt romance do i appeal to everyone yeeeet
...Well I suppose those things are important too. To some people.

I'm still irritated as all get-out that, if Bioware suddenly decided that we needed an embedded reporter, they didn't use Emily Wong.
