Compared to yours, my life has been charmed. Never broken a bone, always had a couple friends, parents happily married, always have been, looking like always will be. So take everything I say with a grain of salt

I think it's also important to remember that no matter what, you're going to miss out on something. This is especially true of marriage - there are people who marry young and never experience adult single life, or who end up in a divorce because they weren't ready and ended up wasting some very important years. But then there's the opposite side, the people who will never know the joys of a 60th anniversary because they married too late
