3ff3ct3r gave me 5 tickets for climbing for my birthday (last July) and today I finally got my ass down to the climbing center to try it. And it was awesome. Sure, I was scared to death since I'm deathy frightened of heights, but it was incredibly fun, challenging and just plain awesome.

It was great (especially after it became clear that if I fell the rope would stop me from falling to my death. Which I knew in theory,but didn't really trust until I'd tested it)

Are there any good places to climb indoors in Montreal?

Yes, there are! I am not sure where because I have never done it, but I will ask my friend, she goes a lot!

Climbing is pretty fun, though I don't do it often enough to not be ridiculously sore after three or four climbs! XD

It's the same for me apparently. My fingers are still sore. ;)
