Another City Day, and Thank Goodness for Triple-A!

I am such a fortunate person, really, in so many ways!

Today was Lizzy's end of year concert for her Greater Westchester Youth Orchestra, and she got to play in Alice Tully Hall, which is part of Lincoln Center. How cool is that! Central Park looks awesome. One of the things I envy about where you live (and most of Europe, Australia, etc) is the abundance of parks and lakes that are available for public use. We have hardly any parks here. Yet far, far too many malls >_>

There are mall problems here, too, which goes under the broad definition of urban sprawl! The towns and cities that plan for public open spaces in their growth plans are certainly to be admired. :)

Isn't it wonderful to be out in the sunshine (finally)?!

Glad AAA came to the rescue. I've never needed them, but I'm now reassured that my membership is worth it.

They are great! Often hotels and motels will give a discount to AAA members, and the Lens Crafter chain gives great AAA discounts on eye glasses! :) Plus AAA will send you maps and trip information for free! So they are a worthwhile organization in many ways! :)

Oh yeah, that's true, I have gotten the AAA discount at hotels before. I'd forgotten about the map service too...hmmmm...might have to try that soon!
