Evidently there was some weird creepy guy at AC making 'inappropriate comments' to a number of the female con-goers.  I can totally believe that-- although from the sound of it he was not a con member, but some random creepy guy from the area who thought the con would be a good place to find nubile young women and girls to make sexually suggestive

There are a number of drugs that utterly destroy sexual gratification. They are well known side effects. Simply let anyone thinking they may hurt a kid or rape someone to take said drugs rather than give into the lust. Let them have the side effect, regardless of what the drug is actually for.

And if someone actually hurts a kid or rapes a woman, they lose their pee pee -- no jail or parole or counciling. The world can do with a few less dicks with dicks roaming around. And they are then REQUIRED to take the meds, with random tests and serious consequences for refusing to take them.

And anyone someone managing to molest or rape again... the punishment will be permanent, fatal, and broadcast on Pay per view.

Heh. The idiot saying "And this is why I never attend furry cons!" should have been subjected to one of the ConFURences, especially 3 and 7-8. The resulting stomach-churning would have won me a prize on America's Funniest Home Videos.

And there are, as you sadly found out, a whole lot of choads in this culture.

As for the pedophile situation, I suspect there simply is no good answer. We can't even deal with normal sexual issues in this country (see: above). Unsolvable conundra like someone sexually attracted to kids but KNOWING it is wrong? Seems that Shockwave may have had the most humane answer: chemical celibacy. People with handicaps and disabilities go through far worse to survive.

If they're treated like monsters regardless then it hurts their morale and self-esteem and makes them more likely to give up.

For those with the moral fiber to be horrified and resistant to said urges, the moral support should be there. Helps strengthen their resolve.

Imperfect solution? Perhaps, but reality isn't perfect.

Simple solution - give them an endless supply of cub porn. Nobody hurt by it, they'll be too busy to go out to the playground, and even if they do, they probably won't be interested in human kids by then. (We may have to reassess this if we ever manage to create "real-life" furries.)
