Last day
Stayed through the morning copying my files and clearing out my internet history and cache (I didn't really look at any questionable sites at work, but it's always a good idea to clear out your history and any cookies if someone else may be inheriting your machine).  I didn't really say goodbye to anyone, which I know is kind of a diss to ( Read more... )

Last time i was unemployed I was very diligent about that, so it's covered. The main issue is wether I can qualify at all due to being a 'contract' worker.

So I'm not the only one that classed Bolt as best of the year! (Most people put Wall-E in that category).

It's somewhat apples and oranges -- Wall-E is Kurosawa and Pixar mixed together, Bolt is pure popcorn fare -- but I just liked Bolt better.

The story was about as original as Mom and Apple Pie, but the characters were awesome. I figure you'd have liked Mittens, at least -- her reaction when the two other delusion complexes in the party start feeding off one another is priceless.

John Lasseter: the man who can spin sh*t into gold.

Odd, I've recently been having dreams about past friends. Once which used to be a very good one till I moved. I know he's been very busy with his new family and so forth but I guess it was my fault that I dropped the ball when it came to remaining in contact.

I do have a question for you but I rather ask it threw private E-mail. My addy is bucky.boy@gmail.com. Thanks.

When I was out of work (which was 18 months) I got a LOT of exercise. And the apartment? Always clean. Strangely I did not increase the art flow...but you are a much more dedicated worker than I.

Look for those closeout deals on shoes on outlet sites! I found awesome sneakers for like 60% off on the internets.

And viva FC, I'm not going to be doing any art there but I am curious to see how the economic shit shakes out with regard to what people are buying.

I have a hard time finding high heels in size 12, but that's sort of a problem I've taken upon myself. :D

I can safely say we'll not be seeing 10K for a Goldenwolf picture. Nothing seems to stop people from buying their porn, but I think we'll be seeing much lower prices than in the past. The (big) furry artshows also suffer from a glut of top-level artists, which spreads the buying dollar pretty thin. I'm not expecting to make oodles of cash at the art show, but doing art for it also gives me new pictures to make prints of, which can help offset any show losses. Prints are actually the most cost-effective thing for an artist to do. You can make a print for $1 or less, and charge $7 to $10 for it. Prints are also the only bit of furry art that seems to hold or increase it's value. Go figure.
